Itemised Billing for Guest Invoice

Channel Manager would like to introduce a new feature called “Itemised Billing” for your Guests Invoice. Now making it easier to add extra items to your guests account and it gives your guest an itemized account by date of all items purchased.

Itemised billing offers several benefits for both businesses and customers:

  1. Transparency: It provides a clear breakdown of each charge, helping customers understand exactly what they are paying for. This reduces confusion and builds trust.
  2. Accurate Billing: By listing each item or service separately, it minimises the risk of billing errors and omissions.
  3. Dispute Resolution: Detailed bills make it easier to resolve disputes, as both parties can see the exact charges and services provided.
  4. Reimbursements: Clients needing reimbursement for expenses, such as corporate travel, can use itemised bills to justify their claims.

Please watch our YouTube video on how it works.

Hotel Credit Card Fraud Prevention: A Practical Guide

Combating hotel credit card fraud requires a multi-faceted approach involving vigilance, technology, training, and clear procedures for both hotels and guests.   Here’s a breakdown of strategies: For Hotels: Implement Strong Authentication Measures: CVV/CVC Verification: Always require the 3- or 4-digit security code on the back (or front for Amex) of the card, especially for online or phone bookings (“Card Not Present” transactions).   3D Secure (e.g., Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check): Implement 3D Secure for online bookings. This adds an extra layer of authentication where the cardholder must verify the transaction directly with their bank, significantly reducing chargeback liability
