New Image Capture in Channel Manager

We have integrated an Image Capture feature into Channel Manager, allowing you to take four images simultaneously during check-in. Simply purchase some webcams, connect them to your computer, and click the “Capture Image” button. This will open the image boxes, and with one click, the images will be saved directly into Channel Manager.

We’ve tested this feature at our property, using it to capture two images of guests: one camera focuses on the guest’s passport or driver’s license, and another on the car’s number plates.

The captured photos are linked to the guest reservation and can be retrieved from the same location in Channel Manager. Capturing guest check-in documentation is a good practice to provide proof of stay and can be referred to at any time in the future. See below for an example of a guest reservation and the Image Capture button.

How Channel Manager Works

⭐ What Is a Channel Manager? A Channel Manager is a tool that automatically updates your property’s availability, rates, and restrictions across every online sales platform you’re connected to. Think of it as your distribution command centre: Instead of logging into each platform to make updates, you enter your changes once—and the channel manager sends those updates everywhere instantly. ⭐ Why You Need One Without a channel manager: You manually update each OTA (slow) Mistakes happen (double bookings) Rates are inconsistent (lost revenue) You spend time on admin instead of guests With a channel manager: Real‑time updates Automatic reservation sync
